Summer Program

Welcome, Parents, Guardians, and Students!

“I believe in myself, and there is nothing in this world that I cannot do.” This is the credo recited by hundreds of inner-city boys and girls each year at Inner Force Centers who learn to make their dreams come true through education and motivation. Inner Force Centers takes pride in equipping every youth with the knowledge needed for what Dr. King called, “The Economic Road to Freedom.” Our Summer Program is centralized at our main facility located at Inner Force Tots, 1181 East New York Avenue (corner of Ralph Avenue), Brooklyn, New York 11212. Your child/children will be transported in our yellow school buses to various sites for special programs and enrichment activities.

STEM Program (Summer Session)

Inner Force STEM ProgramInner force’s new science and STEM enrichment programs during our Summer Program which is sponsored by the Department of Education and STEM Matters NYC. STEM Enrichment Programs for elementary, middle, and high school students during the week our summer program.

STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. STEM education integrates concepts that are usually taught as separate subjects in different classes and emphasizes the application of knowledge to real-life situations with students. A lesson or unit in a STEM class is typically based around finding a solution to a real-world problem.

Math Program (Summer Session)

The Math Summer program encourages and enables students to recognize that mathematics permeates the world around us. They learn to appreciate the usefulness and power of mathematics but also enjoy mathematics and develop persistence when solving problems. Students are constantly investigating problems in both theoretical and real-life contexts. We often first focus on and reinforce Multiplication and Division skills. Then we utilize these skills while learning Basic Algebra with hands-on activities. At the end of the program, students are encouraged to justify or prove mathematical relationships and general rules through testing.
